TrainingAll course prices include the cost of training, training notes or manual and assessment where applicable. A diploma of competence or certificate of attendance is awarded as appropriate. The basic course comes with a comprehensive kit that contains all the equipment and products to get you started as a nail technician. After attending training, candidates are asked to perform at least ten sets of enhancements before their assessment. The Free Edge Nail Academy recommends that candidates make a nominal charge for these sets of enhancements. This will help pay for the course and replacement products as required. All training content includes information required for undertaking the Level III NVM in Nail Services, some areas of the country now require that Nail Technicians have this qualification before beginning to practice. Where applicable assessments are held approximately 4 weeks after the basic course and consist of a short written paper and a full set of nail enhancements on a model. After attending a basic course candidates are advised to add to their basic skills with more advanced courses that will help them develop into a good quality nail technician. All qualifications can be used towards Level III NVM. |
